A car is one of the most significant adult purchases you can make — and Honda has made a name for itself being an incredibly reliable, and trustworthy brand. Working with the Honda Canada team, and my internal agency team, I had the opportunity to assist on the brand before ultimately becoming the lead designer for the brand. Crafting unique stories for each year’s vehicle brochure, and creating a distinctly Canadian story for each model, was a challenge that I was more than happy to face for years. Working within global marketing constraints allowed us to innovate ways we could expand upon the supplied assets, and create a narrative that would resonate with a northern market. Occasional one-off projects like the Civic Garage party allowed us to flex our creative muscles in a fun way that ultimately led to some award-winning work.
